BetterHelp Counselling Voucher Programme

'If you are a Black woman living in Birmingham and counselling costs are a barrier to accessing the support you need, then we are offering 20 women the chance to apply to receive free, confidential support. A space to talk, be heard and be supported. Please see eligibility details below.

What's included?

We’re offering free online therapy through a special partnership with BetterHelp, exclusively for Black women in Birmingham who are experiencing financial hardship and need mental health support.

Thanks to a generous donation of therapy vouchers from BetterHelp, selected participants will receive:

  • 3 months of free online counselling

  • 1 session per week with a licensed, qualified therapist

  • 100% cost covered — no payment required

  • Confidential and judgment-free therapy 

Who is this for?

The opportunity is for those:

  • Who identify as a Black woman

  • Are currently unable to afford therapy

  • Live in Birmingham

  • And would benefit from regular, professional support

We have 20 therapy vouchers available, and they will be awarded through a short application or referral process. Priority will be given to Black Women with clear financial and therapeutic needs.

How it works

  2. Tell us about about yourself

  3. If selected, you will receive an email with a voucher code and access to the Better Help website.
