Interactive session on menopause & mental wellbeing evidence-based tools, movement breaks & practical takeaways with Dr Jo-Anne Weekes.
Hosted as part of our Black History Month activities, this is a safe, exclusive space for Black women to pause, connect, and explore practical ways to protect their wellbeing through the menopause transition.
Places are strictly limited to 10 attendees, ensuring an intimate, supportive setting for open and honest conversation.
We'll begin with a short interactive exercise to introduce the topic, ease into open discussion, and settle the group into a relaxed, connected space.
Drawing on an evidence-based lifestyle medicine framework, we'll explore key areas that support physical and mental wellbeing during menopause — with a couple of physical movement "snacks" woven in to keep energy and focus up throughout the session.
We'll close with practical, actionable takeaways — small, manageable changes attendees can choose to start making in their own time, at their own pace.
